On April 8, 2026, LG Chem carried out strategic cooperation due diligence for the BPA business division with Kukdong Chemical and Samil PwC at LG Chem’s Daesan Plant in Chungcheongnam-do, Republic of Korea. The company is assessing multiple restructuring alternatives, among which are the partial sale of equity in the BPA business and the formation of a joint venture (JV).
