Bjørn Thorsen, a renowned distributor of Lubrizol thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) across the Nordic region, Baltic States, UK and Ireland, is strengthening its product portfolio and local operations for the key Central European markets of Germany and Hungary.

Under the expanded agreement, Bjørn Thorsen will represent Lubrizol’s comprehensive TPU product portfolio in Germany and Hungary, delivering tailored sales, technical support and market development activities aligned with regional customer demands.

Lubrizol recently announced that Bjørn Thorsen A/S has extended its distribution rights for Lubrizol industrial thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) resins into Germany and Hungary. Building on its long-standing role as a trusted distributor for Lubrizol TPU in the Nordic countries, Baltic States, United Kingdom and Ireland, Bjørn Thorsen is now enhancing its distribution setup and local market presence in these major Central European economies.

As part of the expanded partnership, Bjørn Thorsen will market Lubrizol’s full TPU portfolio in Germany and Hungary, offering customized sales solutions, dedicated technical support and targeted market development initiatives to meet local customer requirements. Bjørn Thorsen will supply a wide range of Lubrizol thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), including flagship brands such as ESTANE^® TPU for diverse applications, Pearlstick™ TPU for solvent-based adhesives, and Pearlbond™ TPU for hot melt and reactive hot melt adhesives. In addition, Bjørn Thorsen will provide technical expertise, application guidance and custom TPE solutions through its dedicated plastics application laboratories.

The expanded distribution rights will enable faster market access, enhanced supply security, improved product traceability, and reliable delivery of products and documentation via Bjørn Thorsen’s efficient supply chain and Central European warehouses.
