The LYCRA Company has recently named seasoned executive Alistair Williamson as Vice President of Product Sustainability, reaffirming its commitment to developing sustainable solutions for apparel and personal care products.

In this role, he will steer the next phase of the company’s sustainability strategy and oversee all initiatives designed to reduce the environmental footprint of its products, operations and innovation platforms.

Boasting four decades of experience in the textile fiber and apparel industry, Alistair Williamson has held successive leadership roles in business development, sales and marketing across Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), North America and South Asia. Prior to joining the predecessor of The LYCRA Company in 2007, he worked at two nylon spinning enterprises.
